LMP91000: Compensation of temperature in the LMP91000

My question is about how the compensation of the temperature is done with the LMP91000, in which way the measurement of the temperature is used to change values in the LMP91000 to keep it in the best conditions for the measurement of the gas.

Dear Esteban -

you can use the integrated temp sensor (mux'ed on VOUT pin) for a local temperature measurement with which to then use in the calculations that your MCU/MPU is performing for the specific sensor that you are using. See section 7.3.1.5 of the LMP91000 datasheet, page 14, here: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lmp91000.pdf

Other option would be to have high accuracy external sensor like the TMP117 (digital) or LMT70 (analog) interfacing with your MCU/MPU directly, in case the accuracy of the internal temperature sensor is not good enough for your application.

The manufacturer of the sensor you are using should be able to provide you with the information on the specific sensor expected change / how to compensate with the knowledge of temperature.

For example, one of the supported sensors of the LMP91000 is the A2-02 sensor from Alphasense - they provide this document
