We need to test the capacitance sensor and probe under our Unix system using FDC1004EVM  board and TIDA-00317 sensor probe.

We need to change the default setting since we should measure in differential mode.

Any suggestions how we should do it?

Please refer to the sample Energia code provided in the link https://www.ti.com/product/FDC1004#design-development. This should provide guidance in changing the default settings on the Linux machine.

We need the USB protocol or Linux library and documentation of FDC1004EVM 

We need to change the setup of the FDC1004EVM from the default via Linux

2. In addition t to the issue that you didn't sent to me the requested info I think you have an issue with the website since I downloaded few file from the link you sent to to me and the files downloaded partially for example: 

The downloaded file useless since it was 4k and not 4172 KB.

The communication between MSP430 and the computer using the USB is developed by the MSP430 team. Please refer to the http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa457b/slaa457b.pdf?ts=1590292144965 document regarding the protocol used for the same.

Hi Sharath.,

The link given here doesn't help because it just talks about the capabilities of that MCU for USB communication and not what is implemented on this specific EVM1004FDC.

We need the source code for the application running on that MCU.

I think the link of CODE EXAMPLES & DEMOS you sent before was for that code but I couldn't open it

So either please send to me the zip file or even better please contact in the team that write that software.
