Hi,

I tried to use mmWave Studio(ver2.1.0.0) to collect raw data with TSW1400 and my AWR1843BOOST board.

while doing "Radar API Tab Operations" in the connection tab for RS232 Operations after clicking on connect button

I'm getting "[RadarAPI]: Error: Connection failed: Calling_ConnectTarget returned 3 " error on Output Window.

selecting the COM Port enumerated as ‘XDS110 Class Application/User UART’ for RS232 operations.

I try to connect other AWR1843radar & AWR2243BOOT, it not error.

Please let me know if i missing anything.

Hi,

Were you able to look at some other threads related to your issue? We encourage you to use google site search as follows:

"site e2e.ti.com <Your query>"

Hi GiapBt,

Sincere apologies for the delay in response. Following are some of the debug steps you can follow:

1. Have you ensured that the COM port used for RS232 connection is not being used by any other application. We have see this happen a couple of times.

2. If that is not the case, try and connect to that COM port through some serial application like Teraterm, to make sure the port is accessible.

3. You can try connecting from a different machine as well.

4. Try connecting with a different baud rate.
