CCS/BOOSTXL-BASSENSORS: Connection of BOOSTXL-BASSENSORS and CC26X2R1 LaunchPad

Part Number: BOOSTXL-BASSENSORS
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, TMP117, TMP116

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I am using BOOSTXL-BASSENSORS for using the temperature sensor with CC26X2R1 LaunchPad. When have merged the i2ctmp code with the simple peripheral code, I am facing following issues:

1)error #10234-D: unresolved symbols remain

2)error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "simple_peripheral_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs.out"

3)When I am doing the configuration in sysconfig file of the simple peripheral code, in GPIO option in hardware it is showing TMP116power and interrupt but if we see the sysconfig file of i2ctmp code it is showing TMP117power and interrupt. How come?

Kindly, help me out in resolving above issues.

  • Hi Shivendra,

    Thank you for your post.

Errors #1 and #2 are likely related to the merging of the projects. They point to a linker error of some kind. You can see an explanation here (first option under linker diagnostics). Can you ensure that you have included the proper header files from both the projects you merged?

For #3, it is possible some TMP117 or TMP116 code was repurposed at some point. The TMP116 and TMP117 are software compatible with the exception of the TMP117s temperature offset functionality, so the code is compatible between each of them.

    Best Regards,
