IWR6843ISK-ODS: What are the differences between IWR6843ISK-ODS Rev.C and Rev. D?

Hi,

I found the new versions of IWR6843ISK-ODS EVM (Rev. C) has been released recently. I found a document which also mentioned Rev. D, which is shown as the figure below. I would like to know more detail information about Rev. D, is there a document that introduces the differences between Rev. D and the previous versions? In addition, I want to know whether the Rev. C is compatible with all the demo that can run on the Rev. A?

Rev D hardware is not released yet, But design update is made to improve power integrity on the layout and additional capacitors (22uF) on the output of DCDC to reduce the ripple from DCDC converter.

Yes, Rev C EVM compatible with the demos of previous rev A of the EVMs.

I asked the agent and they said they could only provide the IWR6843ISK-ODS EVM Rev. B rather than Rev. C. I didn't find the domument introducing the information of IWR6843ISK-ODS EVM Rev. B. Is Rev. B compatible with the demos of previous rev A of the EVMs? Does it can work standalone without the carrier board? Could you provide me more detailed information about Rev. B?

Jie,

Rev B is compatible with the demos of Previous Rev A of the EVMs. Yes it does work standalone without the carrier board.

There is no difference between Rev B and Rev C, only Silkscreen is updated to have same revision compatibility with the ISK hardware.
