PGA411-Q1: PGA411-Q1 encoder output

Is it working as expected when the motor is running at low speeds? Do you have access to reading the angle through ORD pins? Is the ORD data as expected when the motor is running?

Hi Sharath,

We are getting 20% variation at low speed (50RPM). While troubleshooting this variation we came to know that OUTB is toggling when motor is not in running condition.

Yes, we are able to read angle or speed using SPI or ORD pins, but we preferred to use encoder output (i.e. OUT A, OUTB).

Can you read the angle through SPI and confirm whether it is the same variation observed as the Encoder output. You can try increasing the AFE gains to see if it helps with the variation.

I'll check it over spi but my main question is, when motor is not running, OUTB pin voltage toggles between 0V to 3.3V and OUTA pin voltage is constant, is it normal?
