Hi SS,

We have a customer looking for eval modules for TMP422 and TMP423. They don't have EVM. Is there any similar EVMs in the same family that they can try. I know sometimes you may have the EVM that can be used to do evaluation for similar parts.

Hi Angela,

The only part with remote junction temperature sensors that has an EVM is the TMP512. The TMP512 has a lot of circuitry that the TMP42x parts do not have, but the remote-junction and local temperature specs are similar between the two parts (not identical). Both parts have n-factor correction and series resistance cancellation.

The only other option that we have would be to provide your customer with the TMP422 of TMP423 on a DIP break-out board.
