AWR1642BOOST-ODS: FOV for azimuth and elevation angle with the Obstacle Detection Reference Design

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST-ODS
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDEP-0104

Dear Team,

there are two different statements about the FoVs of the Obstacle Detection Reference Design Using 77-GHz
mmWave Sensor.  I have attached the affected text passages as screenshots.

The associated white paper "TIDEP-0104" describes the FoV with  ±70 degrees in azimuth and ±40 degrees in elevation.
But in the corresponding user guide in the Resource Explorer the FOV is described with ±90 degrees in azimuth, I cannot find any information about elevation.

Which of the two values is correct? Or is the FOV 180 degrees in elevation in the GUI output only for less complex calculations?

Thanks in advance and best regards
Michael Kainzbauer
