LDC1101: LDC1101 vs. LDC1312

Thanks for the table, I saw it already. Unfortunately it does not say anything about performance at same sample rate. 

LDC1101 has max 16 MHz oscillator with which it can resolve 62.5 nsec. LDC1312 has max 35 MHz oscillator in single channel mode which it may be capable of resolving 28.5 nsec. 

In case there is limited sensor frequency operation range (1MHz) it will behave similarly in matter of resolution measurement because LDC1101 cannot achieve 24 bits anyway and LDC1312 may be configured to use 12 bits of MSB.

Questions:

Both devices runs at 10 kSPS:

• Same sensor frequency variation (1MHz) and maximum supported reference oscillators (LDC1101 - 16MHz, LDC1312 - 35 MHz) which device may have better resolution?
• Do both devices use same measurement method?
• LDC1312 has max register read speed 400kbit/s which gives latency in reading (8 bits address + 16 bits data register) 24 bits / 400 000 bits/s  = 60 usec latency correct?

(LDC1101 register read speed is 8 bits address + 24 bits data registers over 8MHz SPI 32 bits / 8 000 0000 bits/s = 4 usec latency for data transfer)
