TIDEP-0091: Power Measurements for 77GHz-level transmitter reference design

Hello,

We have questions for TIDEP-0091.

1.Does the power measurements (3.2.2.2) result include the power consumption of MSP432 LaunchPad?
  We want to know whether "the total mmWave sensor and low voltage energy is 19.3 mj, the cycle is 41.55 ms." includes the power consumption of MSP432 LaunchPad.
  We're considering using the HART protocol (4 - 20mA) to control the application like TIDEP-0091; therefore, we want to know the reference design could achieve 3mA/12V (system requirements).

2.Is the modification described in Table 4 mandatory to evaluate 77-GHz Level Transmitter Reference Design (TIDEP-0091)?

    1. The power measurements are for total system power. The measurements were taken directly off the power supply.

    2. Yes the modification is required for evaluation. There are modifications needed for functionality and also other modifications for optimization. The required and optional modifications are discussed in the getting started guide (gsg) in the TIDEP-0091 Software File Package.
