TMP1075: TMP75AIDR vs TMP1075DR

Part Number: TMP1075
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP75,

Hi ,

We are driving  TMP1075DR to be on top of TMP75AIDR. Will you please advise if there is any change need be to change from SW perspective?

We see digital output  TMP1075DR have 4 LSB with "0000". Please help to describe more if these are "0000" why we not just make TMP1075DR the same digital out as TMP75AIDR

  • Hi Aaron,

The TMP1075 and TMP75 are software compatible pin to pin parts.  The 4 LSB of the TMP1075 and TMP75 will be 0000 as indicated in the table.  If you do a 2-byte read from the TMP75 you will get the same 0000 as the LSBs.  The table on the TMP75 datasheet only shows the first 12 bits.

    Thanks,

    David
