TDC7200EVM: How big is the TDC7200EVM's input signal

Hi,My lab want to use tdc7200evm for part of single photon detector.

Connect start with laser pulse and connect stop with avalanche pulse.

But,I can't figure out how big the avalanche pulse should I send to the tdc7200evm. I can only find the pulse width on the data sheet.

By the way,our avalanche pulse is usually at hundreds of mV. Maybe we need a amplifier.

Hi Bryan,

The minimum STOP voltage level is this VIH in the Recommended Operating Conditions Table of the datasheet. 0.7*VDD.

VCC from the MSP430 (JP1 jumper installed on the EVM) is 3.3V. If you need to supply a lower voltage down to 2V, you have to remove the JP1 jumper and supply the voltage directly on JP1.
