TMP1075: Questions of TMP1075 I2C Characteristics

Hi Expert,

The customer is asking the question below.Pls help to comment.

1)  Need to the any definition/limitation of duration between write command and read command need to follow?

2)  Whether the TMP1075 will response the "FF"? If yes,pls advice the conditions for MP1075 will response the "FF".

    The T(buf) specification in section 7.6 of the TMP1075 datasheet gives the required time between a start and stop condition on the bus. If they are writing and then reading with a repeated start, then they just need to ensure that t(HDSTA) and t(SUSTA) are satisfied.

    Are they addressing the TMP1075 first or sending 0xFF on SDA without an address?

    The TMP1075 will ignore any commands which do not include the specific device address, with the only exception being the general call reset function described in section 8.3.2.7 of the datasheet, and the SMBus alert function described in section 8.3.2.6.
