TMP464: connect the thermal pad to GND

Hello,

a customer sent the following:

The TCA9548A does not specify to which NET should I connect the thermal pad, only I “The package thermal pad must be soldered to the printed circuit board for thermal and mechanical performance.”

Should he connect the thermal pad to GND? Or should he leave the pad open?

Hi Victor,

Are you asking about the TMP464 or TCA9548A? The TMP464 thermal pad can be left opened or grounded.
