TDC1000-C2000EVM: TDC1000-C2000 question analysis

Part Number: TDC1000-C2000EVM

Hi team,

I am using TDC1000-C2000,I connected one tranducer to TX1 and the other one to the RX2, the software shows "read all no error", however, after I clicked the START GRAPH, I can't get any response, and there was no start signal detected by the oscilloscope as well. You can see my confirguration in the attachments.

Thank you.

Best regards,

  • Hey Zhonghui,

Thank you for your question. TX1 and RX2 are connected to each other on the EVM so it is not possible to connect a transducer to each of those pins, it is possible to use one transducer in TX1/RX2 to transmit and receive (I have attached an image from the data sheet which can be found in this link under section 9.1). The image shows how they are using one transducer on TX1/RX2 to do level measurements in the water tank. Additionally the CH_SEL should be set to CH1 as you have CH2 selected so its transmitting on TX2 instead of TX1 where your transducer was connected to.

This should hopefully help with the setup. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    Isaac
