Any magnet may be used with our sensors, and come in a variety of shape and polarization options. You will want to be aware of the magnet grade when selecting your magnet. For example, with NdFeB magnets, we commonly see grades ranging from N28-N52. Where N52 is the strongest magnet. As a result, an N52 magnet can be placed further from the sensor than an N35 magnet.
