Hello team,

Would you answer to below question? Our customer is considering whether to purchase the EVM.

  1. Customer want to repeat start pulse at 100 Hz, in other words, the start pulse is generated in each 10 ms. Are there any problems?
  2. What is happen in the GUI in case the stop pulse is not detected when the start pulse is detected?
  3. Can the MSP-EXP430F5529LP support windows 10?

    Hello Hideki,

    1. The TDC7200 will wait indefinitely until the next START pulse, so if there are 10ms between each measurement then there is no problem here as long as the measurement is completed but the parameters of how long a measurement should be can be set in the GUI.

    2. If a measurement was started and STOP pulse is detected then the Clock Counter STOP Mask value or the Clock Counter Overflow value then an interrupt will be set for either  COARSE_CNTR_OVF_INT or CLOCK_CNTR_OVF depending on the situation, then the device will wait for another START pulse to commence measurement again.

    3. And lastly the MSP-EXP430F5529LP is compatible with Windows 10.
