    Optical properties of both sensors are in the datasheet. Regarding the manufacturing process, I will need more details about what is needed to answer.

    thanks for your feedback in time,  customer heard optical sensor is fragile，so customer want to know about the manufacturing process; 

    Or you can tell me why is optical sensor as OPT3001 or OPT3007  relatively fragile ？what do customers need to be aware ?

    Hi Cooper,

    The datasheet has information in sections: 8.3 Do's and Don'ts and 10.2 Soldering and Handling Recommendations

    OPT3001 is not a significantly fragile part and it has requirements typical of any optical part where surface needs to be kept clean to proper functioning. OPT3007 is an extremely small part and for that reason it can be more fragile than the OPT3001. For example tweezers can very easily damage the OPT3007 and I have seen this happen in the past. OPT3007 requires a vacuum tool for handling.
