HDC1010: HDC1010 and HDC1000 compatibility problem

Hello,

I am developing a mikroe addon board with a HDC1000 IC on it:

I already have a very good working driver for this click board on my PIC platform.

And, it is known that HDC1010 will have replaced HDC1000 at the moment when my new product is manufactured.

Now, the problem is: will the code for HDC1000 also work on HDC1010 without any compatibility or unpredictable issue?
