My customer has the following problem with the temperature sensors LM84BIMQA in their system:
"In some rare cases (2 cases up to now), we observed the temperature reported by the remote (diode) sensor to go either all the way to the maximum code (0x7F – +127C), or all the way to the minimum code (0x80 – -128C) and stay there. Our system does not have any of these temperatures, surely not the negative ones. The effect disappeared when I removed the board with the defective sensor from the system and re-installed it into another identical system (i.e., turned the sensor off and on)."
Can you give any recommendations about eliminating this effect, please?
