TDC7201: Laser Ranger Finder with TDC7201

Hi,

I would like to make a laser ranger finder with TDC7201 + MCU, the range is from 1.5m to 500m. The MCU now I choose is MSP430FR4132.

Does the MCU suit my project? Can some one give me some advice about this? Thanks.

Carolyn,
I have not used this particular MCU. We use MSP430F5529 in our EVMs or use a launchpad. I would suggest you experiment with a low cost launchpad and decide if the MCU memory, speed and power fits all your application requirement.
