Hello

When i try to initialize the mmWave demo shown in the picture below. I have no problem connecting to the device but when I press the SEND CONFIG TO MMWAVE DEVICE it doesn't seem to be working.

The following happens as shown in the Console Message window.

Any tips why it isn't working is welcome.

Hello Karl,

As an alternative can you please try "load config from pc and send" as an alternative to send a config file which is available as part of Out of box demo.

This button is available under "Plots" tab of the visualizer and config files for IWR1443 device are typically available under:
C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05\packages\ti\demo\xwr14xx\mmw\profiles\profile_2d.cfg

Hello Vaibhav,

Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. Nothing happens when i press the "load config from pc and send".
Will try the demo on a different computer and see if it works.

Hi Karl,

A few other things to check:
Device/Board has the right images flashed. - This is highlighted in mmWave SDK user's guide "Flashing Images/Demo" Step
Confirm that the device is out reset. - Correct SOP mode is set when the device while trying to run the demo.

Hi Kevin,

I will try to test this after we have done some more baseband measurements using the TSW1400 board. I can mark this thread as answered and make a new one if I have future problems.
