AWR1243: Synthesizer Sweep Bandwidth

Hi,

I understand that there are separate VCOs covering 76-77 GHz and 77-81 GHz.

In this scenario, is it possible to sweep from 76-78 GHz even though this sweep bandwidth would transition between two different VCOs without introducing any glitches in the chirp ?

Hi RJ,

It is not possible to sweep 76-78GHz in one single chirp. ou will have to construct 2 chirps which use 2 different VCOs.

So if I understand correctly, I can sweep 76-77 GHz and if a wider band sweep is required beyond 1 GHz, then I can sweep in 77-81 GHz band ?
