AWR1642: How to caculate the ADC voltage conversion gain?

Part Number: AWR1642

We would like to analyse the whole Radar system's dynamic range by using radar equation, AWR1642's TX power and RX gain, but I can not find the AWR1642's voltage conversion gain. It means we do not know the power for full scale of ADC at 1V Vpp. Does TI can provide it?

Hello ,

Are you looking at computing the voltage level at the ADC input for a given power level? That depends on the Rx gain programmed by you. If you programme a 30dB RX gain ( for example ) then you need to add 30dB to the input power level to get to be level at the ADC input. You can then convert the dBm level to voltage assuming a 50 ohms load.
