AWR1642: How to use the continuous wave mode in capture demo?

Hi,

Customer wants to set the AWR1642 in continuous wave mode for test purpose. 

Is this contModeCfg in Configuration command is used to set the AWR1642 in continuous wave mode?

And could you please help to provide a config file that can use to set AWR1642 to output 77GHz  continuous wave signal?

    Hello Wesley,

    You can refer to the configuration in one of the CAPTURE demo in MMWAVE-SDK in the below path ""$mmwave_sdk_01_01_00_02\packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\capture\capture_demo_script_lvds_cont_mode.txt". This has the "contModeCfg" continuous mode configuration.

    Below is the continuous wave mode configuration for 77GHz start frequency:

    flushCfg
    dfeDataOutputMode 2
    channelCfg 2 1 0
    adcCfg 2 2
    adcbufCfg 0 0 1 1
    lowPower 0 0
    contModeCfg 77 0 0 6000 0 0 30 1 1024
    setHSI LVDS ADC disable
    sensorStart
