You must be confused, because the TMP708 does not have an I2C interface. Are you looking for TMP108?

Hi Scott,

TMP75 was designed to meet the NXP I2C Specification for tSP in both FS and HS modes. See pages 47 and 51 of the UM10204 document from NXP. In order to achieve this, TMP75 has input filters which change when the HS Mode command is received. This action is described on page 12 of the TMP75 datasheet under Section 7.3.2.7 High Speed Mode, and is in accordance with behavior described on page 40 of NXP's document.
