LM56: temp sensor for cold start

Part Number: LM56
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM57, TMP708, TMP303

I’m looking for a temperature switch solution. Ambient temperature range: -40 ~ 65C

LM56 is what I used in other projects.

For customer’s description following, I think one channel is good enough.

the circuit would need to check the PCB temperature when power is supplied and either hold the CPU in reset (if measured PCB temp is below -5C) and enable the on-board resistive heater, or let the system boot normally. If the CPU is held in reset and the PCB heater enabled the device needs to let the CPU out of reset once the board temp gets above a certain threshold (say 0C).

we also need cold start, and not need CPU control while every time system restart.

Which parts do you recommend for it?
