LDC1101: LDC1101 EVM GUI issue with Windows 10

Yes, this is a known issue - refer to e2e.ti.com/.../1803288.

The LDC1101 GUI needs to be installed by an administrator; if you did not install the GUI in that way, uninstall it and reinstall with administrator privileges.

I tried running in Administrator mode. Still it can't find the COM port. I tried in two machines. Same result, both running Windows 10. Can you check whether you can replicate this at your end? Don't know some Windows update has broken this.

Please check under your device manager to see whether the LDC1101 EVM is recognized as an EVM. It may be the driver itself is not installed.

It is recognised as EVM with a COM port number. Today I tried with a Windows 7 machine. Still the GUI can't connect. In the bottom right corner the Texas Instruments logo is flickering in green and there's a status whcih says NOT CONNECTED.

Does this application need any Windows update or VSredist?
