LMT87: Vdd connection

Dear Sir/Madam,,

We have layout constraints on a ceramic tile of a regulator where we use your product, LMT87.

The question is can we leave pin#4 Vdd disconnected or all Vdd pin#1-4-5 must be connected to a common source.

    Hello Zoltan,

    In general, it is recommended that you connect all of the Vdd pins to a common source. This will reduce the input impedance to the device and will also help reduce noise. For this device specifically, the internal blocks are not connected within the IC, so Vdd connection at all pins is required.
