AWR1243: Cascaded AWR1243/AWR1243P

Part Number: AWR1243

In the upcoming Cascaded AWR1243/AWR1243P series can you change the phase and amplitude of each TX individually, or is it just the phase?
Can you change the operation modes of this cascade system in real-time? i.e. move between MIMO to Beamforming using preconfigured profiles?
Is there any Examples/Labs upcoming that will showcase Radar in motion, i.e. a real-world automotive scenario with moving radar and target?
Is there any specific process controls for moving radar akin to decluttering static scenario, i.e. removing static information (relative to the moving radar) dynamically in real-time? Or indeed tracking?
  • Hi,

You can change the Amplitude and phase of each TX individually. Refer to rlSetProfileConfig API.

Yes you can also switch between different modes. Refer to API documentation for more details.

There would be matlab based PC example and TI processor based processing example later showcasing beamforming and MIMO usecase. For now, You can refer to the application note
