DCA1000EVM: What's the difference between TSW1400EVM and DCA1000EVM ?

I am aware the main difference between TSW1400EVM and DCA1000EVM is TWS1400 can only capture data for 10s but in non-real time whereas DAC1000 can capture for non-limited time in real time. What are the other main differentiation between them ?

Hello ,
Functionality vis that is the main difference.
Another difference is that the DCA1000 also had the FTDI to allow the radar configuration over the mmwave studio tool on the PC. Incase of TSW1400 you have to use additional Dev Pack board to achieve that.

Note also that the SOP mode can no longer be controlled programmatically with the DCA1000, so you will need to have the right jumpers installed on the EVM.

Hello,

Regarding the capture length difference, as indicated by you in the first post, the TSW1400 has a limit of 10sec. DCA1000 does not have an capture limit as such, it streams the data to the PC continously. So basically it would be limited by the PC used.
