TMP116: Shutdown Mode

I put TMP116 into shutdown mode with writing 01 in MOD bits. But when I read the temperature it is still updated. What am i doing wrong?

Hi Bostjan,

Have you verified that the configuration register is being properly written to? Try reading back the contents of the configuration register and let me know what you see.

Yes, this was indeed my problem. I was doing something wrong when writing to the register. Now I done writing a little different and this fixed my problem. Very trivial, I know:) Thx for quick response.
