毫米波的DEVPACK:MMWAVE-DEVPACK

Part Number: MMWAVE-DEVPACK

Dear all

I have bought IWR1642EVM+MMwave-devpack  ((www.ti.com/.../MMWAVE-DEVPACK))

what kind of software development kit is the main function of MMwave-devpack?

Can MMwave-devpack get the raw data of the test??

What can MMwave-devpack do? Under what circumstances will MMwave-devpack be used?

Thanks

  • Hello,

The IWR1642 + DEVPACK allows the Mmwave studio (dfp) software to be used for controlling the IWR1642.

The additional TSW1400 is needed for capturing the LVDS Radar Rx data for Post Processing.

The Mmwave software can be used with scripting - see the user guide and the example, to store the setup of the configuration.

Using customized software, the MSS Logger UART could be used to export processed object data or Mmwave Rx radar data.

When you use the Mmwave studio software, the IWR1642 Uniflash is formatted only.  There is no software preinstalled.

  • HI ALL

    Means mmwave-devpack is just a tsw1400 carrier?
I have read the related files of mmwave-devpack, but still have not seen any functional applications?
Can you please specify? At present, I still don't use mmwave-devpack, I don't know what he can do?? Only use iwr1642EVM.

Using customized software, the MSS Logger UART could be used to export processed object data or Mmwave Rx radar data.<<<<<<<< This sentence means that  can raw the export processed object data or Mmwave Rx radar data ?

    Thank you

  • Hello,
The Devpack allows connection from the USB to Booster Pack / Launchpad connections. The USB on the Devpack is controlled by Mmwave Studio or Radar Studio. The Control UART, SPI, Logger, I2C, and GPIO are accessible over Mmwave/Radar Studio.

The Radar / mmwave studio allows for an alternate programming style to Out of Box demo. The SPI port is a different programming port only accessible with Radar / Mmwave studio.

Raw data, requires additional hardware, TSW1400 or custom programming. If you want to use Mmwave studio Post Processing you will need the additional high speed capture hardware.
