RTOS/IWR1443BOOST: ISSUE Flashing IWR1443Boost with demo software

I was trying to run the demo using mmWave Demo visualizer web app with the IWR1442Boost EVB out of the box. After configuring the ports, an error message reported a mismatch in SDK version 2.1 but device reporting 1.2

I then tried to flash the device per instruction using the UniFlash application and loading the 

mmwave_sdk_02_01_00_04/firmware/radarss/xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss_rprc.bin and the

: Meta Image 2/MSS - : mmwave_sdk_02_01_00_04/packages/ti/demo/xwr14xx/mmw/xwr14xx_mmw_demo.bin

This was unsuccessful, with errors stating that the files did not match the correct headers. One of the forum post suggested to only try and flash the Meta Image 2/MSS but this did not work. I then rebuilt the demo application and tried flashing the newly compiled binaries. This also did not work and resulted in the same error message - copied below. 

I would greatly appreciate some help and guidance for getting this to work.

    Hi James,

    If you are using the Uniflash v4.5, can you try v4.4 instead?

    Hi John,
    Thanks for the suggestion. Ill give this a try now.

    For reference I am using a linux box with Ubuntu 16.04 but I was getting the same error messages using the web app version dev.ti.com/.../ and the desktop Version: 4.5.0.2056.

    I also tried on a Window machine with no luck, same  behavior.

    Uninstalled the previous version of Uniflash and installed Version: 4.4.0.1922

    Hi James,

    According to the notes on the MMWAVE-SDK download page MMWAVE-SDK 2.1 only supports IWR1443 ES3. Since the ES3 version of the device will not start shipping until the end of the month I believe you should have an ES2 device. In that case you would need to use MMWAVE-SDK 1.2. It is available at the following link.
