DCA1000EVM: Can't see the Radar API when I start mmWave studio

Hello,

Looks like you are using old version of the mmWave studio (1.0.0.0).

Please use the latest mmWave studio www.ti.com/.../MMWAVE-STUDIO.
Also please review the Installation guide comes in the studio (There are prerequisite like specific Matlab runtime engine, Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package, FTDI drivers etc ).

Also in the view menu see output window it shows any errors present during this process.

Above output log doesn't seem to be present in the link, it throws error "it's probably been deleted or may not have existed at all"

Hello,

By looking at the log file it appears that RS232 ports are not connecting to the device.
Device should be in SOP2 mode, and nRset need to be applied. And right comp port number need to be selected.
Please share the device manager screen shot.

Yup, I am doing everything as suggested in the video. My device is ES1.0 . I hope that is not an issue?

      Also please note that ES1.0 silicon may not have been tested and supported with  mmWave studio 2.00.00 version.

By looking at the above log file indicates RS232 connectivity has some issue.
Please ensure device device is in SOP2 boot mode (Mount the SOP0 and SOP1 jumper pins) as indicated in the above video and Power need to be cycled and reset need to be pressed. During this process there is no NERROR LED is illuminated, if yes, then above process need to be repeated.

Could you please post the mmWave studio images, error logs, Device manager's virtual com ports?
