Please be specific on the signal that you would like to measure and why you would like to do it. Is there anything specific on the TDC1000/TDC7200 device that your looking to measure?

We would like to differrentiate materials based on the amplitude it reflects back from an ultrasound transducer ? If so what kind of method and sensor development kit (ultrasound) we should use ?

Tom,

You could use the same TDC1000 device for that. The ToF for the ultrasound waves will differ for different materials placed at a particular distance from the transducer. You could use a TDC1000 device for the same.
