DRV5013-Q1: tON Starting Voltage

Part Number: DRV5013-Q1

Dear, Sir.

I would like to confirm following items. Please give your advice.

1)7.3.3 Power-On Time explains using Figure13, 14, 15.

tON looks start from the finish of VCC rising.

The other side, 7.1 Overview expaines this device does not

operate when VCC is -22 to 2.4V.

I wonder which is properas the tON starting voltage, 2.4V or 2.7V?

2)Above voltage looks like power on reset threshold.

I wonder my guess is correct?

3)Above threshold is reflected to power down reset?

Best Regards,

H. Sakai

  • Hello H. Sakai,

The minimum power supply voltage is 2.7V, so t_on begins once the supply reaches that level. The exact power-on and power-down reset voltage can vary slightly from device to device, and this is not something we characterize. I suggest you ensure that you always provide the minimum Vs of +2.7V when you want the part on, and 0V when you want the part off.
