I managed to run the data capture demo in mmWave Studio using a AWR1843BOOST connected to a DCA1000EVM without any issues. Now I would like to stream raw data from the radar, through DCA, to PC over Ethernet (continuously) without running mmWave Studio at the same time.
I started from the data capture demo and recorded the commands that were sent over Ethernet to the DCA board using Wireshark. Then I closed mmWave Studio and sent these same commands over Ethernet using my own application. DCA replied to each command with a success, but once the data transfer starts I'm not seeing any Ethernet traffic and after a few seconds one of the LEDs on DCA indicated LVDS data path error. I suspect this is beacuse the radar is not sending anything over LVDS. I assume the radar requires a command over USB to start sending LVDS data, but I don't know how to do this. Any advice on how I should proceed? Thank you.
