HDC1080: HDC1080 temperature

hello,

i would to use the HDC1080 in my board, but i have a doubt about the temperature. i have a requirement on the operating temperature of-40°-85°.

in the HDC1080 datasheet, the humidity sensor Ambient Operating Temperature is -20°-70°, while the Functional Operating Temperature is -20°-85°. more, in the figure 3, it seems that the humidity sensor works up to -40°-85°.

can you explain me if  the HDC1080 works correctly in -40°-85°?

    Dear Fabrizio -
    In this device, the temperature sensor is rated for -40 to +125C, but the humidity portion of it is meant to operate between -20 to +70C (ambient operating spec you saw in datasheet). It will remain functional to +85C, but it will drift, especially at higher humidity levels. (as you can see in Figure 2 of the datasheet)
