LMT87: Do we have a part which can measure lower than – 38 Degree Celsius at 3.135 V?

Hi Sensor Team,

my customer is using LMT87.

By powering LMT87 with 3.3 V – 5 Per Cent = 3.135 V, max neg. temperature which can be measured is – 38 Degree Celsius.

Do we have a part which can measure lower than – 38 Degree Celsius at 3.135 V?

Do you have any sensor gain requirements here? And to what operating range, or are you only interested in lower than -38 Degree Celsius?

no, this is a generic question from my customer.

Do we have a similar part to LMT87, that can measure under -38 Degree C under this requirements?

The closer the features/parameters to LMT87, the better.

Hi Marion,

I think the best solution here is LMT86. It has a similar gain of -10.9 mV/°C. The minimum supply for full operating temperature range here is 2.75 V as well.

Hi Marion,

Another option is the TMP235 which has similar accuracy, but with a positive gain of 10 mV/°C.
