IWR1443BOOST: What is the expected frequency response of IWR1443boost LC filter for ar_1.8V with ES3 chip

Any one know the expected frequency response of the LC filter used in the 1.8V, 1.35V_RF1 and 1.35V_RF2 of IWR1443boost with ES3 chip for the power optimization? (any simulated or the measured frequency response and the filter used)? The help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

These are Ferrite cores to filter out higher frequency switching frequency components, while offering low DC resistance (~20 mOhm) for the lower frequency (DC) load current, But offers higher impedance for higher frequency components.

Please refer to the below graph, At higher frequency impedance of the inductance dominates and offers higher impedance for the high frequency switching components.

Thanks for the quick response! do you mean the capacitors in these LC filter do not take the real LC filter function, so they can be any values since the dominant components are those Ferrite beads? Is this also the reason why the capacitors in LC filters of IWR1443boost are different in each schematics as I asked you before?

At lower frequency impedance is dominated by the DCR (~20 mOHM).
