DRV5056: means to getting a full -21 to 21 range

Hope you can help my customer with his question:

Currently, I’m using the DRV5056A1 which has a range of 20 and output from -2 to 21 mT.

Is there a way to get a full -21 to 21 range? By adding an adjacent sensor with different voltage reference or any other sensor model?

Thank you for using the TI forum.

Yes, the easiest way to do this is to use the DRV5055A1 sensor (http://www.ti.com/product/DRV5055), which is a linear Hall device that is bipolar. It's range is ±21 mT.

Technically, if you want the +20 mT and the -20 mT on different outputs, then you could use two DRV5056A1s, and flip one around (ie, put one on the bottom of the PCB or use two TO-92 packages and have them face away from each other.
