CCS/LMP91000: wiring of 4-electrode gas sensor with LMP91000

Part Number: LMP91000
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP7721

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello Community,

I am using LMP91000 AFE for gas sensor application. I did it with 3-electrode electrochemical gas sensor.

Now I am working with 4-electrode electrochemical gas sensor how can I connect that with LMP91000 without external circuitary?

Circuit diagram would be helpful to me.

Regards,

Vignesh K.

  • Dear Vignesh -

i think the AUX connection (this would be the 4th lead in the cell you are now asking about) would need to be used with LMP91xxx and an external op amp, like the LMP7721, because this signal (used for correction) would need op-amp, too.

simple concept diagram I quickly put together (using example circuit to start with from a company that makes 4 lead cells) below
