IWR6843: Uniflash unable to open COM port for mmWave SDK

I am trying to follow the mmWave SDK demo instructions for IWR6843 but Uniflash appears to keep getting stuck at opening the COM port and going no further than "Set break signal". I have attached pictures of my setup and the problem.

To add to that, I have trouble flashing other firmware as well; for example the lab "50m outdoor people tracking and false detection filtering - 68xx" also has the same problem.

Hi Rap Sodo,

You should make sure you are following the flashing instructions in the SDK Lab User Guide.

You should also press the nRST button after powering on your board.

My problem was using an older version of the XDS110 driver!

BEWARE! if the drivers show up already upon plug in, they could be old!

Updated by selecting update and manually picking the driver! Only spend maybe 1 hours fighting this.

EDIT:: This was not a fixall for my problem. I returned to being unable to flash using UNIFLASH.
