Hi Team,
LDC1312 will be used to sense the position between sensor and metal target. The system requirements are:
1. Distance resolution is 10um.
2. Maximum distance is 2mm.
3. Sample rate for each channel is 10kHz.
My questions are:
1. Can LDC1312 meet the all the requirements?
2. The maximum channel sample rate is 13.3ksps in the datasheet, however, customer cannot get such high sample rate on their own board. Is there any attention should be paid to achieve 13.3ksps or is there any document about the design?
3. Is there any risk by increasing I2C clock frequency? Because customer tried to use 1MHz clock frequency and found it can still work.
4. Do we have any solution which can achieve 10ksps for each channel? Because only one channel of LDC1312 can achieve 10ksps, the two channels cannot achieve 10ksps simultaneously.
5. Is there any other sensor or technology can meet the system requirements except inductive sensing technology?
