TMP1075: about address

Part Number: TMP1075

Hi dear expert,

May I know TMP1075 address detection is only done after power up or is detected for each bus communication?

I see below description in datasheet:

The state of pins A0, A1, and A2 is sampled on every bus communication and must be set prior to any activity on the interface.

Does it mean TMP1075 address will be captured for each bus communication?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

BR,

Joyce

  • Hi Joyce,

    Thank you for your post.

You are correct. The Address pins of the TMP1075 are sampled to set the address every time the bus communicates.

This means that if one of the address pin connections changes between communication, the new connection will we be used to determine the device address in future reads or writes.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Best Regards,
