PGA900: OWI Bit Timing

Hi Mario,

The OWI bit timing on the PGA900 is going to be based on the baud rate setting you have the device configured to.  Are you having trouble communicating with your device?

i need a diagram which contains a descrption of the OWI data stream e.g. transmitting a logic 0 or 1.

A example for the Bit timing based of the baudrate will be also very helpful.

Hi Mario,

Sorry for the delay here.  Figures 31 through 34 show the basic transmission of data through the OWI.  In the command and data fields shown, there can be any combination of 0's or 1's in the transmitted packet.

Yes, the figures in the PGA900 datasheet.  There is also a UART timing diagram in our ADS122U04 datasheet with a little more detail that might interest you.  You can find that in figure 1 here:
