TMP411: Temp Reading

Part Number: TMP411

Dear Team,

The customer use TMP411 to replace ADM1032.(The ADM1032 work fine here)

But the remote temperature can’t be read, and it shows around 0 degree C at room temperature.

Could you help to check is there anything we need to be verified?

Hi Kevin,

Can you please check and see if you can read the status register and see if there are any faults? A reading of 0C could be a result of an open or short on the D+ or D- pins.

If you do not see any open or shorts on these pins please send a oscilloscope screenshot of the D+ pin. Be sure to zoom in enough to see the different voltage levels.

Here is the D+ D- signal, we are not sure why it is negative.

Hi Kevin,

This waveform is not what I would expect to see on the D+ pin. Can you please make sure you have the correct signal? I also noticed that the capacitor between the D+ and D- (C1601) is over our recommendation (max 1000 pF). Please try removing or lowering the value of that capacitor and see if this fixes the issue.
