Hello,

I want to use the AWR1843Boost board in combination with the DCA1000EVM in mmWave Studio.

During the Installation of mmWave Studio the installation of the FTDI driver is aborted with the following error message:

I also tryed to install the driver directly from FTDI. In this case the installation does not fail. But the four AR-DevPack devices do still show up under "Other Devices" in Windows Device Manager and selecting the driver manually does also not work.

There is also no Post Proc Version listed when i start mmWave Studio:

Hi,

Could you make sure that while installing the mmwave studio mmwave DevPack or DCA1000EVM is connected to PC.

yes both are connectedto the PC during installation.

Hi,

i now managed to install the FTDI drivers.

However, i needed to deactivate the Windows driver signature to do so.

Why dont you ship your software with signed drivers??

THis is unaccaptable for the IT department of oure company.

Thanks for pointing it out.

We take this point as a high priority to ship a signed FTDI driver in our next release.
