this is a follow on from a previous post

II have tried a number of things and managed to disable the Bit Locker feature in Windows10 so that I can install unsigned drivers. Tried many times and still have problems and stuck..

The new message is:

"Windows found drivers but encountered an error while attempting to install them.

AR-DevPack-EVM-012D

A problem was encountered while attempting to add the driver to the store.

If you know the manufacturer of the device you can visit their website and check the support section for drivers".

I do not know what this means as I am trying to install the drivers to the device , any advice?

Hi Cesar,

Thanks. It seems as if I will have get drivers from the FTDI, but before I do that , what does the second part of the error message, " A problem is encountered while trying to add driver to store", means? I do not want to sake things worse.

I have checked the security catalog info on the drivers in the mm studio and it says the: The security is not valid. The certificate that signed the security is not valid

Signature name: Texas instruments

The certificate from 2017-09-11to 2019-09-13

I believe why I cannot install the drivers. How do I overcome this?.

How can we discuss this with TI? It's urgent

Thanks for the update.

Do you have any idea how long this will take? The reason for the question is that I would prefer to wait than experimenting, again, with changes to my Windows Settings as this sometimes causes me a lot problems elsewhere.

Updated FTDI drivers should be released on mmWave Studio page next week.
